ACQUIRE A MEASUREMENT TOOL THAT IS UNIQUE IN THE WORLD

Description of the organization

HEC Montréal is a French-language university institution offering internationally renowned management education and research. The School has been training future managers who contribute to our society’s growth and prosperity, since 1907.

Objective

In order to publish their research in the best scientific journals, Professor Vandenberghe, holder of the Chair in the Management of Employee Commitment and Performance, and his team wanted to acquire an innovative data collection tool for the advancement of the research in management.

The challenge was daunting: developing a panel in about 100 companies and organizations in order to carry out longitudinal studies and follow the evolution of the results of more than 10,000 respondents in different jobs.

At the end of a call for bids towards a partnership of at least 3 years, Fino distinguished herself as the only organization capable of carrying out the complex implementation of this unique panel.

Fino’s responsibilities

  • Develop the panel’s IT infrastructure according to the strict standards of scientific research
  • Support HEC Montréal in the panelist recruitment strategy
  • Train a team of agents dedicated to phone recruitment
  • Fully document the procedure guides for the different tools developed for the management of the Panel
  • Accompany HEC in promoting the Panel to Canadian organizations
  • Develop various communication tools to enable HEC Montréal to make the Panel known to its target audience
 

Result

The Global Experience Panel has been in place since 2019 and recruitment is on track to exceed expectations. In fact, close to 40 organizations representing more than 10,000 employees have already joined the panel and this is just the beginning!
